1. Clients hire us on a contingency basis (payment only required if we’re successful) to find assets on their behalf.  Information is provided and we do the research. On more difficult cases, we may employ third party professionals (i.e. private investigators, typically retired FBI employees).  
2. During our client search we naturally discover other unclaimed funds belonging to other individuals.
3. Conducting ‘blind’ searches where no client is involved.

Unless you officially hire Recoup and Recover to assist unclaimed funds there is absolutely no obligation to us. However, our hope is to consider us as it was our asset recovery specialists who informed you about the unclaimed funds.  In many cases, attorneys, private investigators, state employees are either too expensive or have not personal interest in assisting you.

Recoup and Recover, Inc. does not collect any personal or financial information from our clients until or unless it’s 100% certain the assets in question are yours.  The only time Recoup and Recover Inc. might require this type of information is if it’s required by the government department holding the assets. If this is the case the original documentation from that department can downloaded directly from their site.  Recoup and Recover Inc., does not retain any personal or financial information from our clients.

Recoup and Recover, Inc works on a contingency based percentage of the assets successfully requested.  No money, financial or personal information will be requested to start the process.

Yes, to start the process to officially hire Recoup and Recover Inc., some paperwork will need to be signed and notarized.  Once it’s verbally agreed upon to start the recovery process, Recoup and Recover, Inc. will set an appointment for a Notary Public to meet with you locally for approving the necessary paperwork.  Depending on your specific situation and government requirements, such as proof of identity, other approvals may be needed.
